I moved to a new city without visiting it once
Por Priya S · · Vida personal · 11 útiles · 13 me pasó
Lo que pasó
Accepted the job, signed a year lease, packed my life — all based on Google photos and one video call. The neighborhood was nothing like the pictures and the winter broke me. Lasted 7 months.
Lección aprendida
Spend at least a weekend living like a local before moving somewhere. A flight is cheaper than a broken lease.
⚖️ El veredicto del Juez
CULPABLE CON ATENUANTES · convicción 84%
You can't feel freezing wind or judge neighborhood vibes through a screen. Next time, spend forty-eight hours on the ground before signing away a whole year of your life.
